Hey Oklahama, comfort and performance come standard in the all new Dodge Avenger.
Following in the footsteps of its big brother, the legendary Charger, the 2010 Dodge Avenger has a commanding road presence with its broad shoulders, oversized headlamps and distinctive, cross-hatched, Dodge trademark grille. Packed with features and available options found in higher-priced vehicles, the Avenger performs with power and pizzazz on any roadway by maximizing available technology and innovative thinking.
Offered in two trim levels, SXT and R/T, the 2010 Avenger comes with a base 173-hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine with 166 lb/ft of torque coupled to a four-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain offers an EPA-estimated 21 mpg city and 30 mpg highway. For those wanting true sportscar flair, the R/T has an available 3.5-liter V6 topping out at 235 hp and 232 lb/ft of torque. This option comes with Dodge’s six-speed AutoStick automatic transmission that allows do-it-yourself shifting. A choice of wheels, such as the 18-inch Razor or the 17-inch cast aluminum wheels, an available integrated rear spoiler and chrome-tipped dual exhausts underline the performance potential.
Interior cabin comfort is maximized by a fold-flat front passenger’s seat, a 60/40-split/folding rear seat and comfortable, standard seating for five. Options include leather-trimmed stain-resistant fabric and heated seats. LED lighting in the premium headliner allows for directional interior lighting in the front or rear with high-focus white lights. Innovation brings several class-leading conveniences to the 2010 Dodge Avenger such as the Chill Zone® beverage cooler located just above the glovebox. It can keep up to four 12-ounce cans chilled to just the right temperature and within easy reach.
For managing your music, wireless connectivity and Bluetooth devices, the Avenger’s uconnect system operates as the hub, allowing the driver to effortlessly control all of the necessary information. For music, there is an available input jack for your iPod or MP3 player and an optional Boston Acoustics® six-speaker, 276-watt digital sound system that brings quality sound through the six-disc CD changer and plays CDs, audio DVDs, MP3 and WMA (Windows Media Audio) files. Real-time, turn-by-turn directions and traffic guidance and SIRIUS satellite programming make highway and commute time easy to handle.
While behind the wheel of the 2010 Dodge Avenger, you’re not only surrounded by conveniences, but advanced safety and protection features such as advanced, multi-stage driver and front-passenger airbags, supplemental seat-mounted side airbags and side-impact curtain airbags. A series of crush zones, coupled with dual-phase steel, absorbs energy in a controlled manner to protect the vehicle’s occupants. To help avoid road mishaps, Electronic Stability Control (ESC) helps in maintaining control of the vehicle during any extreme steering maneuvers. ESC senses understeering or oversteering and compensates by controlling the throttle and applying braking at individual wheels.
Once you’re back home, the optional HomeLink® system can open your garage door or security gate from the safety of your driver’s seat. Key fob features include remote start and keyless illuminated entry, and the available Sentry Key® can deter theft by immobilizing the engine.
With an MSRP starting at $20,970, the 2010 Dodge Avenger packs class-leading safety and reliability features and the bloodline of the Charger into an exhilarating driving experience.
