2010 Dodge Ram

You know you’ve made it when you make the list. Whether it’s the “A” List, the Dean’s List or just the list of folks who get the best table at your favorite eating spot, you know you’re among a select few. And that’s the company that the 2010 Dodge Ram is keeping these days. On the list of the Top 10 Best-Selling Vehicles, the Dodge Ram has the qualities that make it one of the top consumer choices. Why? There are a variety of reasons, from durability and styling and safety to convenient amenities and options including a mix of V6 and V8 engines and a trio of cab configurations.

The 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 Regular Cab model is available in three trims – ST, SLT and Sport – with a variety of powerplants to match. The 3.7-liter V6, standard on the ST, produces 210 hp with 325 lb/ft of torque and is coupled with a four-speed automatic transmission. Available on the SLT, along with the basic 3.7-liter V6, is the 4.7-liter FlexFuel V8 with a five-speed automatic transmission. This combination produces 310 hp with 330 lb/ft of torque. A 5.7-liter HEMI V8, standard on the Sport trim and optional on ST and SLT, delivers a beefy 390 hp with 407 lb/ft of torque coupled with a five-speed automatic transmission.

The 1500 Regular Cab features a 10,450-pound towing capacity (properly equipped) and a 1,900-pound payload capability. There are two box length options; six-feet-four-inches and eight feet. There are a variety of interior features crafted with detail and quality, from the high-bolstered, broad shouldered driver’s seat to the two-tiered center console with six-ring chrome-accented instrumentation. On those cold winter days, slip into the optional heated/ventilated leather seating with available heated rear seats in Crew and Quad Cab models.
